Fei Kong Gao (四ッ星 飛空高 〜フェイクゥガォ〜) is a luxurious Junmai Daiginjo crafted from Hyogo-grown Yamada Nishiki polished to 35%, highlighting only the most exquisite part of the rice grain. Its elegant ginjo aroma, gentle first impression, and lingering depth combine in perfect harmony, representing the pinnacle of Funasaka Shuzo’s craftsmanship.
Carefully matured for over 10 months in sub-zero storage, this sake undergoes a “refined storage” process rather than traditional aging, allowing the umami to develop with extraordinary finesse. The result is a sake that feels forward-looking—truly a taste of the future.
Created under the skilled hand of Toji Hiraoka, a master brewer who never stops pushing boundaries, Fei Kong Gao is meant to soar beyond the limits of sake, both in name and spirit. Best enjoyed around 10°C in a wine glass to fully appreciate its delicate aroma and flavour. For optimal enjoyment, remove from refrigeration 15 minutes before serving. Particularly recommended with RIEDEL Vinum Daiginjo glasses to highlight its subtle elegance.
